Hello Northside Families! 

Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year! I am thrilled to begin another exciting year at Northside Elementary and am grateful for the opportunity to continue serving as your principal. Our students, families, and staff make Northside such a special place, and I am committed to creating a positive, supportive, and memorable elementary experience for every child. It is my mission to serve our students, support our staff, and partner with our wonderful Northside community.

Please join me in giving a warm Northside welcome to our new staff members! We are excited to welcome Dannielle “Danni” Schoenrock, our new School Counselor and Joanna Williams, our new Head Custodian.  If you see them around the school, please take a moment to introduce yourself and give them a warm Husky welcome!

As we begin a new school year, I want to encourage all families to stay connected with Northside. For the most up-to-date information about school events, important dates, and announcements, please read your student’s classroom Weekly Newsletter and the Monthly Letter from the Principal. You can also visit the Northside website for current information.

This year, all flyers, newsletters, and school communications will be sent home electronically. As we work toward reducing the amount of paper we use, we are moving away from sending physical copies of these communications. If you would prefer a physical copy of any flyer or newsletter, please let us know, and we will be happy to provide one. Please make sure we have your most up-to-date email address so you don’t miss important information.

Each classroom will also use a daily B.E.E. (Bring Everything Everyday) Folder that travels between home and school. Please make it a routine to check your child’s B.E.E. Folder each evening for important classroom work!

We are so excited to welcome our students back to Northside! Thank you for trusting us with your children and for being such an important part of our school community. I look forward to a year filled with learning, growth, connection, and plenty of Husky pride!
